The tension between family values, strict authority, and emotional heartbreak reaches a boiling point in this episode of Dastoor. Mustafa tries to distract himself from his heartache by jumping straight into the family business. While his Dadi is happy to see his initial interest, she leaves no room for true freedom. Mustafa is left shocked when he finds out that his Dadi canceled the university’s educational contract and stopped student scholarships just because she felt insulted by Shiza. This marks the very first time Mustafa openly questions his Dadi's choices, telling her that mixing personal grudges with business decisions will only lead to losses.

On the other hand, Shiza is entirely broken inside. She feels that Mustafa chose to hear only her harsh words without trying to understand the deep pain driving them. The pain of constantly seeing him at the university campus becomes too much to handle. To protect her failing peace of mind, she makes up her mind to shift to a different campus next semester just to put some distance between them. Her mother tries her best to comfort her, reminding her to stay strong and let time reveal the truth.
